When
the tin appeared, the silversmith profession was already rare. Our
country is lucky because there are some who still using the old silversmith
techniques - what is getting unnecessary. The machines are taking
over the art and turning them into cheap stuff. Unfortunately there
is no place in Europe where you can learn silversmith profession.
But
there is a small, tiny hope left... there are some who eager to keep
the traditions and the knowledge of the silversmith porfession.

We have many archeological
artifacts from the ancient times prove that the silversmith
and goldsmith profession was advanced in that time. There are
misterious techniques still to discover. Those who knows this
art, can't make a use of it, because the lack of orders. There
are some who have orders from individuals, companies and churches.

But they are small jeweller-shops,
with small capacity. Nowadays customers are usually looking
jewelries for the everyday usage or for occassions, and it is
very rare to have an order for a special ornament, picture-frame,
baptism-cup, etc...

To get a picture of the
silversmith profession, we have to know something: this art
is completely separated and independent of the goldsmith's craft.
The making of the jewelry or item is mostly made from wires
and plates, using hammer to shape rings, ornaments, chalices,
etc... We use hammer to create patterns, embosses or shapes.

These products are more
complex, hard to create and needs lot's of planning and design
than the goldismith products are (jewelries). Because the softness
of the silver, it is also very easy to damage them. Products,

Sometimes we are mixing the style of the goldismith craft and
the silversmith profession to create the perfect product to
